In our World of Warcraft: Forever guide, we’ll explain how the new project differs from Classic and when it is scheduled for release. We’ll cover the major class changes, as well as the new playable race that has been added to the game’s universe.

Read on to learn about the Legacy system and discover the brand-new raids and dungeons awaiting you. You will also find out how WoW forever boosting services can help you quickly get up to speed and clear any endgame content.

WoW Forever Release Date and New Features

The release date for WoW Forever is November is set for November 4, 2026; the game itself is a reimagining of World of Warcraft Classic, yet the developers have introduced various quality-of-life improvements and a wealth of new content. One of the most notable features is the complete absence of realms; all players are now on a single large server. Therefore, when creating a character, you can choose from different rulesets: PvP, PvE, RP, and Hardcore.

One of the most appealing aspects of the new WoW is the ability to switch the game’s visual style between Classic and Enhanced, as well as to toggle the display of player transmogs on or off. The loading screens have been reworked and new ones added, while the updated login background pays homage to the original classic version.

Class Changes in WoW Forever

WoW Forever

In World of Warcraft Forever, certain classes have received long-awaited updates. Classes that were previously unique to each faction are now available to both the Horde and the Alliance. The Horde has gained the Paladin class, which is available exclusively to Undead characters, and the Shaman class became available to Dwarves on the Alliance side.

The game also features new class and race combinations: Human Druid, Orc Mage, Priest Gnome, and Warlock Troll. Adjustments were also made to the skills of various classes, and new skills were added. You can find the full list of changes in the Icy Veins database, as well as information on builds for each new combination.

WoW Forever New Dungeons

In WoW Forever, nine additional new dungeons now await you, featuring designs and layouts that rival the classics. New instances have been added for a wide range of player levels, from 13 to 60. Each of the dungeons is filled with new types of enemies, including bosses, as well as new mechanics and unique gear rewards. Below, you can see the full list of raids you will be able to complete:

Ruins of Lordaeron15-20
Excavation Site24-29
City of Dalaran28-33
The Drowned City35-40
Krol’Dok Stronghold40-45
Alcaz Island Prison48-53
Blackmaw Hold55-60
Shaper’s Terrace58-60

In World of Warcraft Forever, dungeons remain a primary source of pre-raid gear and fast character progression. If you want to level up quickly via dungeons or prepare for high-level content, you can utilize WoW dungeon boost. A team of professional players will guide you through both classic instances and the new ones introduced in WoW Forever.

World of Warcraft Forever New Zones

The new version of WoW also introduces over 1,000 new quests, located both within instances and scattered across four new zones. Mount Hyjal is a high-level zone with an atmosphere reminiscent of Teldrassil. Meanwhile, the mid-game zone Riverglades resembles a blend of Duskwood and Elwynn Forest, featuring picturesque mountainous terrain and rolling hills.

A small location called Shen’Dralas, which also features quests, has been added between Mulgore and Desolace and presumably hosts a new faction. In addition to mid-game and end-game zones, a neutral territory and a starting location for Skybourne elves – Zephras Isle – have been added. As it is a starting area, mob levels do not exceed 12, making it suitable only for the beginning of the journey.

WoW Forever Legacy System

The Legacy system is highly rewarding yet quite challenging. Its core mechanic involves completing tasks linked to various activities, organized into four categories: Classes, Tradeskills, PvP, and Adventure. Completing each task awards 1 Legacy Point; once you have accumulated a certain number of them, you can unlock and upgrade various perks that provide passive bonuses for professions, world traversal, and resourcefulness.

Cosmetic rewards are automatically unlocked upon reaching specific Legacy point milestones. The maximum number of points required to unlock the final reward is 55; preliminary estimates suggest this will necessitate completing challenges across multiple characters rather than just one. Below, we have listed the rewards from the Legacy progress track and the point requirements for each:

  • Replica Ironforge Air Rifle – 15;
  • Spectral Bear Cub – 25;
  • Spectral Bear Tabard – 40;
  • Spectral Bear Mount – 55.

These cosmetic rewards are exclusive to the Legacy system and cannot be obtained in any other way. If you want to get the cool-looking Spectral Bear mount and boost your character with various perks, such as increased crafting yields or reputation gain modifiers, World of Warcraft boosting can help you achieve all of it. Boosthive professionals will handle character leveling or grinding specific dungeons to quickly get you the desired amount of Legacy points.

New Raids in WoW Forever

To the existing list of classic WoW raids, 2 fresh raids have been added in Forever that were not present in any version of the game before: the Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit. At the time of writing, the only known details regarding these raids are the number of players they are designed for: the 10-player Barrow Deeps and the 20-player Hyjal Summit.

Onyxia’s Lair, a single-boss instance, will also become a 40-player raid and is expected to have additional gear added to its loot table. Furthermore, the developers have promised to distribute set gear across multiple raids to encourage players to visit different instances rather than grinding the same one repeatedly.

World of Warcraft Forever New Race

WoW Forever

One of the key features of the new WoW is the addition of the Skyborne elf race. This race is available to both the Horde and the Alliance, though their racial abilities differ slightly depending on the chosen faction. In total, six classes are available to the Skyborne: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid, and Shaman for the Horde, and Mage for the Alliance.

Customization for the new elf variant combines elements of Void Elves, such as tattoos and moodier facial features, with the classic Blood Elf skin tone palette, while also adding blue hues. Like other races, Skyborne has unique models for Bear, Cat, Travel, and Boomkin Druid forms.

However, unlike the classic races, the Skyborne are a premium race that must be purchased with real-world money. If you want to learn more about these elves and see a complete list of their racial abilities, you can find a guide on Wowhead that details them for each faction.
